Connect Logistics employees hold most successful annual donation to St.Albert Food Bank ever!
Connect
Logistics, St. Albert's largest private employer, facilitated Team Members in making a large donation to the
Food Bank in the local community. Connect donated the food transportation and wages of the sorter/packers, as well as made it possible for Employees to donate wages via payroll deduction.
The program was administered by the Company's Organizational Effectiveness (OE) Team which also organizes social activities and culture improvement initiatives. The OE Team worked closely with the Food Bank in creating a "wish list" of goods that the Food Bank really needed to bridge the gap through Christmas.
Connect Team Members stepped up to the plate and donated almost 1300 pounds of goods that matched the wish list as well as $605 that will be used for fresh produce and perishable items that are required. This is the most successful annual campaign for Connect to date!
