After graduating from NAIT with a Computer Systems Technology Diploma Rainor worked 2 years as a programmer in Edmonton then moved to Australia (for an extended holiday!) and worked for 13 years in the IT industry. Rainor returned to Alberta and began working for AGLC as warehouse systems and technology leader. In 1998 he joined Connect as the IT Manager.
Rainor is actively involved in the community and chairs Young Life St. Albert, a youth group offering positive alternatives for teens.
Rainor has been married for 30 years and has 2 married sons and a daughter who is on the hunt! Rainor likes, in fact loves!, motorcycles! He is a Certified Motorcycle Instructor in the province of Alberta. On a lighter note he is also a Certified IronButt Rider - 2500 kms in less than 24 hrs. And although he doesn't live in Saskatchewan he manages to play a 5-string banjo in a bluegrass band.
