Administrative Assistant/Receptionist


Connect Logistics Services (CLS) provides third-party liquor warehousing and liquor distribution services in Western Canada. The company is the current agent solely responsible for the warehousing and distribution of spirits, wine, coolers, and imported beer in Alberta for the Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission. CLS is a member of the Exel Group.

Reporting to the Director of Operations the Administrative Assistant/Receptionist will provide administrative support to the Operations department.

Required skills:

·    2+ years related experience and/or post secondary education in office administration
·    Intermediate MS Office skills, typing speed of 45+ WPM
·    Professional, diplomatic and customer focused
·    Sound judgment and diplomacy skills
·    Detail oriented and able to multi-task
·    Outgoing personality and a can-do attitude!

Required duties include:

·    Prepare materials for meetings and conferences using MS Office
·    Compose letters and reports
·    Provide administrative support to operations department including coordination of schedules, calendar and travel arrangements
·    Answer multi-line switchboard
·    Liaison with couriers (shipping and receiving packages)
·    Inventory control & management of office supplies
·    Maintain accurate and organized filing system including physical and electronic records
